Privacy
This is a personal website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from third parties. The only personal data processed is what any web server needs to deliver a page.

When you visit
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which processes data on my behalf. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare's servers process technical data for each request, including your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For transfers from the EU to the United States, Cloudflare relies on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and on standard contractual clauses if that certification lapses. Details are in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
What this site doesn't do
No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google or another provider. There are no embedded videos or social media widgets.
Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not sent to me or to anyone else.
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub and YouTube are plain links. Nothing is sent to those services unless you follow a link, and from then on their own privacy policies apply.
If you email me
I use your message and address only to reply, and delete them when the conversation no longer needs them. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering you, or taking steps you've asked for before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, and for it to be corrected, deleted, restricted or handed over to you, and you can object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Email me to use any of these rights.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. For Berlin, that's the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
